Dr. Rogers offers the following in-service topics:

The Lives of Samuel, Saul, and David

 This three or six hour* class will look at the lives of Samuel, Saul, and David as you have never seen them before. This is a comprehensive survey of the historical books, I Samuel and 2 Samuel, with special attention to the parallels that make great applications for our lives. You will learn principles of leadership, prayer, and worship as we explore these books.

Joshua

 This three or six hour* class will look at the life of Joshua as this military leader moves Israel into the Promised Land. This is a comprehensive survey of a transitional book in the life of Israel as they learn how to live by the law in their everyday lives. You will learn principles of leadership, war, and the Mosaic Law as we explore this book.

Judges

This three or six hour* class will look at Israel during the time of the Judges within the scope of 300 years. This is a comprehensive survey of the 12 judges of Israel as they deal with Israel’s sin cycles. You will learn principles of leadership, internal and external problems, and second generation problems as we explore this book.

*These sessions could be done over a two day period (back to back or at intervals during an academic year).

About Dr. Rogers...

Passionate preaching and teaching are the skills that have defined the aspirations of Professor Andre Maurice Rogers through his life. He has sharpened these skills through his dedication to academic success at both CIU and Dallas Theological Seminary. With a Certificate of Ordination from the Gethsemane Baptist Association and recognition from the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, Andre has put his academic training into practical use as pastor of the Church of the Open Door in Columbia, S.C. He has just completed his doctorate of ministries and serves as Pastoral Ministries Program Director at CIU. Andre enjoys life with his family, and his hobbies include itinerate speaking, evangelism, and playing musical instruments.
