The Lowrie Center extends its sincere gratitude to those who attended yet another dynamic experience for not only teachers and administrators who will be joining Christian school faculties for the first time this fall, but also an equal number of delegates that returned to the conference to grow professionally and become inspired to "carry on". A record number of newly hired faculty with no to little background in Christian school education discovered the foundational truths of a Christ-centered philosophy of education and the means whereby they too can be participants in the mission of God through Kingdom education. The photograph features some of the IICSE faculty (seated with Dr. Uecker middle back row) and international delegates from the Dominican Republic,Guatemala, and Nigeria.
Argenis Traveras, from the Dominican Republic, expressed a rekindled passion to "...let the King of the Universe be the King of his school."
A new teacher from South Carolina wrote, "...this time of fellowship with other educators was beyond anything I could have dreamed. I am taking away so much to use as I serve the Lord this year at my school...I am excited to be entering into a school that not only supports but encourages my praying and building relationships with my students. I thank God for the IICSE and how He led me here.
