Good to know you are thinking about these issues. The "4 C's" have some similarities to a 3-pronged model I've been tinkering with: self-directed learning (which includes communication & media usage), critical and creative thinking, and character/wisdom. The research on "character" elements (e.g., self-regulation) is powerful and should receive more intentional emphasis in our schools. Good work. Glad you're initiating this critical conversation!

This is a good friend of mine. Mickey has been in the business of educating for a long time! What do you think of this video?

I agree that creativity, critical thinking , and collaboration are important as we prepare students for the 21st century.  As the world changes, education must also change. The way I see it, children are created in the image of God, and they are precious to Him.  Each one of them is created on purpose for a purpose!  His desire for His children is that they are all taught His truth.  We need to give careful consideration as followers of Christ to the question of how best to reach all of God's children with a biblical worldview in a culture that is quickly moving away from the Creator and His truth.
